Reminders for Friday, Decem,ber 16th, 2016 (Day 6)

1.  The annual school Christmas performance is on Monday  There will be a 1:00 and 7:00 performance.  Some students need to bring a prop for their performance.  Ask your son or daughter. 2.  The last day of classes is on Tuesday. 3.  The students in 5SA will be going tobogganing on Monday afternoon after the Christmas performance.  A permission form needs to be brought back to school on Monday.

Reminders for Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 (Day 5)

1.  Remembrance Day is quickly approaching.  The M. C. Knoll program will be on November 10th.  There is no school on November 11th and November 14th. 2.  Students are encouraged to organize their binders.  Mr. Schendel will be checking them over the long weekend.  Students need to make sure binders are neat, organized, and everything inside is complete. 3.  Students in 5SA will be going on a field trip next Friday.  Ask your son or daughter about the details. 4.  A fundraiser package was sent home today.  Check it out!

Reminders for Thursday, September 15th, 2016 (Day 4)

1.  There will be a Spirit Day on Friday.  We are encouraging the students and staff to wear M. C. Knoll colours. 2.  Congratulations to the runners that participated in the first cross-country meet of the year.  All of the runners did an amazing job representing our school.  The next practice will be on Monday. 3.  There is a band clinic on Friday and Saturday for the band students. 4.  We are collecting pledges for our annual Terry Fox Walk/Run.  A letter was sent home today.

Reminders for Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 (Day 2)

1.  3 days remaining! 2.  The annual Grade 6 Community Bike Ride will be on Monday afternoon.  The students should pack a bag with something to eat and drink.  They can also bring money for our stop at the Co-op service station.  3.  Students can bring some additional bags for tomorrow.  A big portion of their supplies can be taken home tomorrow at 3:30.  Yahoo! 4.  6S will be going for a walk tomorrow at 1:00 pm.  We will stop at Weinmaster Park for some additional fun.  A letter was sent home today.

1.  Happy Father's Day to all of the dads of 6S students.  Have a great Sunday! 2.  The students in 6S and 6K will be going on a long community bike ride on Monday, June 27th.  Permission forms are due this Monday. 3.  Students can bring an extra drink and snack for Monday afternoon.  We will be watching the movie Chronicles of Narnia .

Reminders for Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 (Day 3)

1.  The annual Walk and Roll is on Wednesday.  Students are encouraged to walk, run, bike, or rollerblade to school. 2.  The year book orders are due tomorrow.  Have your son or daughter take the order to the office. 3.  Good luck to the Band students!  Tomorrow is a performance at the Anne Portnuff Theatre. 4.  Friday is the Hot Dog Lunch.  Bring your appetite!

1.  The annual track and field meet for Grades 6 to 8 will be on Friday, May 13th at Century Field.  A permission form was sent home today. 2.  There will be another Bake Sale on Friday.  Yummy! 3.  The next Spirit Day will also be on Friday.  Friday will be Twin Day. 4.  If your son or daughter has their own baseball glove, they can start to bring it to school.  Mr. Schendel will be doing a Softball Unit in Physical Education.

1.  The We Act Club is attempting a friendly battle between the genders in our building.  They are collecting change for a great cause.  Ask your son or daughter about the details.  Friday is the deadline or the donations. 2.  The mandatory track and field meet for Grades 6 to 8 is approaching.  Students in 6S need to select their events for the exciting meet on Friday, May 13th. 3.  There will be another Spirit Day on Friday.  Students should come to school with wacky hair. 4.  The Pizza Lunch is on Friday. 5.  The students in 6S will enjoy the movie "Cast Away" tomorrow.  They can bring a drink and a snack for the afternoon portion.
